Place one foot on the floor and lower the knee of the other leg behind to obtain a half kneeling stance.
Ensure 90 degrees at both knee joints, a neutral low back curve and shoulders above the hips (no leaning forward or hip flexion). Keep the arms at the sides with the palms facing forward.
The closer the front foot is to the midline of the body the more difficult it is to maintain this position.
Hold for 30 seconds on each side.
